English TV and film producer Jemima Goldsmith has said that she was standing with the human beings on both sides of the border who were bearing the brunt of tensions between Israel and Palestine.
“I stand with the innocent human beings on both sides of this conflict,” she said in a post on X, erstwhile Twitter, on Monday. “Condemn both.”
Israel has killed at least 704 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank since October 7, Al Jazeera reported while quoting the Palestinian Authority’s health ministry.
The European Commission has launched a review of its development aid to the Palestinians after the Hamas militant group’s attack on Israel.
But Brussels was forced to scramble to clarify that no support has yet been suspended, despite one of its own commissioners making this claim.
“I stand with the innocent human beings on both sides of this conflict, especially the children. Condemn both,” she said in another post.
