Shahrukh gets extra security cover after death threats

Indian authorities have provided Y+ security to Shahrukh Khan after his complaint about the death threat calls he was receiving after his recent blockbuster movie ‘Jawan’.

Shahrukh had written to the Maharashtra government to provide him security as he was receiving threatening calls from unknowns after releasing Jawan.

In response to the letter, the state government has given him Y+ security, which means six commandos, four police personnel and a traffic clearance vehicle will remain with King Khan.

Earlier Salman Khan was also provided Y+ security cover, as he had been threatened by the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang.

However, in the 90s, Khan was threatened by the underworld, it was a time when he was giving back-to-back blockbusters to Indians, he had said that despite all threats he would never work for them.

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta applauded King Khan on his performance in Jawan and said: “THE ONLY star who never gave in.”

Shah Rukh’s Jawan has already minted ₹1103.27 crore gross at the worldwide box office.
