A mother and her daughter died after the roof of their house collapsed in Lahore, while five people from the same family were wounded.

The incident happened in Nishat Colony of Lahore, where seven members of a family were buried under the rubble when a roof made from mud fell down.

According to rescue sources, the incident resulted in 20-year-old Tania and her mother Sonia passing away, while five identified as Irshad, Ishaq, Adnan, and Tehmina were treated on spot while 45-year-old Akbar was shifted to a general hospital for treatment.

The rescue official cleared spot clear after getting recovering all members of the family from the wreckage.
