When a girl belonging to Indian Punjab was asked whom she wanted to marry, she replied that she is willing to marry Iftikhar.
Talking about his nickname Ifti Chacha (uncle), she said he might be uncle for all but for me, he is “life”.
It was reported that an Indian girl identified as Hira belongs to the Indian Punjab. During the interview, she wore the India cricket team’s official shirt but she had Iftikhar’s poster in her hands.
