Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is celebrating the success of his recent movie Jawan, has wished Muslims around the world Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
“On this day let’s celebrate the virtues of being kind, compassionate and righteous. Wishing every one a happy Eid Milad-un-Nabi,” he said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Give a big hug to everyone you meet. Eid Mubarak.”
Muslims around the world celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), known in Arabic as the Mawlid al-Nabawi holiday, on the 12th of Rabiul Awwal — the third month of the Islamic lunar calendar.
Many buildings in Pakistan are illuminated in connection with the Rabiul Awal. People on this occasion distribute free food to passers-by, while Milad conferences are held in the local mosques.
Eid-i-Miladun Nabi would fall on September 29, Friday, in Pakistan.
