Soon after his return to the country, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif is likely to fly to London tomorrow (Thursday) to meet his brother Nawaz Sharif as he is set to arrive in Pakistan on October 21, sources said.
The PML-N president had returned to the country a day earlier after spending a month abroad. Sharif had flown to London right after the Pakistan Democratic Movement-led government had ended. He met his elder brother in London and participated in multiple party meetings.
PMLL-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz held a meeting with the former prime minister at his residence where the two discussed Nawaz Sharif’s return to the country.
Maryam is also likely to join them in London to hold an important meeting as her father is expected to return to the country next month.
The PML-N planned to hold a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore to welcome Nawaz Sharif on his return to the country. Sharif will address the gathering after securing a protective bail from the courts.
In case the former prime minister is arrested, the PML-N will hold a protest at the same venue where party leaders and workers from across the country will gather on the day of his arrival in the country.
