The PML-N has decided to hold a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan to welcome Nawaz Sharif on his return to the country on October 21. Sharif will address the gathering after securing a protective bail from the courts.
In case the former prime minister is arrested, the PML-N will hold a protest at the same venue where party leaders and workers from across the country will gather on the day of his arrival in the country.
The former prime minister has directed that only senior leadership be present at the Lahore airport to receive him. After landing at Lahore Airport, he will fly to Minar-e- Pakistan by helicopter.
Sharif will apply for protective bail from the court and will address the party gathering after securing relief from the court.
He will then visit the Data Darbar after addressing the gathering.

Sharif’s brother and former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday after spending a month abroad.
Shehbaz had flown to London right after the Pakistan Democratic Movement-led government had ended. He met Sharif in London and participated in multiple party meetings.
It is pertinent to mention that party leader Rana Sanaullah said on September 15 that Sharif would surrender to court like an independent citizen after his return to Pakistan.
“The matter is that the legal team of Mian Nawaz Sharif has gauged everything so I cannot say this on air right now, but hopefully he will come in a condition that he has a legal justification that he, like an independent citizen in court, where his appeals and cases are being heard, surrenders himself, have his bail,” he told a press conference in Lahore.
