Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, who is celebrating the massive success of his recent film Jawan, has announced the release date of his next film of the year. But he has also shared how his movies have an impact.
“God’s been very kind, we’ve had Pathaan. God has been even kinder with Jawan. We started with January 26, Republic Day, it’s a good auspicious day. Janmashtami, we released this film [Jawan] on the birthday of Krishna ji. Now, on Christmas and New Year, we will bring Dunki. And as I always keep national integration in mind. It’s always Eid when my film releases.”
The event was attended by the film’s stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Sunil Grover, Atlee, and Sanya Malhotra.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Jawan has so far collected Rs695.67 crore Indian rupees at the global box office. With this, the business of Jawan has surpassed Gadar 2 which had collected Rs679.69 crore Indian rupees gross at the worldwide box office.
Jawan is Shah Rukh’s second release of the year after Pathaan, which became the first Hindi film to cross the Rs500 crore mark at the box office.
His look at the event and announcement of Dunki release in December has increased his fans’ curiosity. Dunki is directed by famous director Rajkumar Hirani.
