A passenger coach veered out of control and overturned near Nowshera resulting in the death of four people.

The coach, which was travelling from Lahore to Peshawar, met with an accident at the Rashkai interchange near Nowshera. Reports said 14 people were injured in the incident as well.

A total of 25 people were aboard the coach at the time of the incident including women and children. Rescue officials immediately arrived on the scene to shift the injured passengers to the hospital.

The injured were taken to Mardan Medical Complex and Qazi Medical Complex in Nowshera. Rescue officials also shifted two passengers in critical condition to Peshawar.
