PTI leader Usman Dar was picked up by unidentified people in Karachi on Saturday, party leader Omar Ayub claimed. In a social media post, he claimed that Dar was taken to an unknown location.
“He has reportedly been taken to an unknown location,” Ayub added, further saying that the police were claiming Dar was not in their custody.
The PTI also condemned what it termed as Dar’s “abduction” and demanded his immediate recovery.
It merits here to mention that many PTI leaders were arrested after the events of May 9, following protests after the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan.
In a video shared by the PTI, Dar’s mother demanded the immediate release of her son and demanded that he must be presented in court.
