Board of Control for Cricket in India President Roger Binny and Vice President Rajiv Shukla will travel to Pakistan to attend Asia Cup matches.
The two will arrive in Pakistan on September 5 and will attend a reception in addition to seeing the matches.
Binny said that he looked forward to Pakistan’s hospitality and that he hoped the visited would lead to improvement in cricket ties between the two countries.
He also said that Pakistan-India clashes attract more attention than the Ashes.
It will be the first visit to Pakistan by a BBCI president since 2005.
The Asia Cup is set to begin on August 30 with a clash between Pakistan and Nepal in Multan.
