Pakistan’s blind cricket team won the gold medal on Saturday after defeating India by 8 wickets in the final of the Blind Cricket World Games.
Playing first, India scored 184 runs at the loss of three wickets in 20 overs as Indian batter Tompki scored 76 runs followed by Ramesh who added 48 runs to the total.
The Pakistan blind team achieved the target in the 15th over with the loss of two wickets.
Pakistani batter Mohammad Salman shined with 48 runs, Badar Munir scored 41 runs while Nisar Ali hit an innings of 36 runs in the chase.
The Pakistani team remained unbeaten in the Blind Cricket World Games as it defeated India, Bangladesh, Australia and England in the event.
Pakistan had earlier beaten India by 18 runs in the group stage of the tournament.
