Pakistan beat Afghanistan by one wicket to clinch the second straight match of the series on Thursday.
Naseem Shah hit the winning runs as Pakistan chased down 301 with nine down and only one ball left.
Afghanistan posted 300 for the loss of five wickets batting first in Hambantota. Rahmanullah Gurbaz hit 151 off as many balls while Ibrahim Zadran hit 80 of 101 balls.
Shaheen Shah Afridi took two wickets for 58 runs. Pakistan dismissed the first Afghan batsman after 227 runs.
In response Pakistan got off to a slow start, until Babar Azam (53) and Imam ul Haq (91) put on a 118 run stand.
However, wickets continued to tumble with Shadab Khan falling off the first ball of the last over. However, Naseem Shah held his nerve to edge the penultimate ball to the third man boundary to secure the win.
Pakistan now has a decisive 2-0 lead in the three match series.
