Parts of Karachi received light drizzle on Wednesday providing the citizens a sigh of relief from the humid weather.
Light drizzling was recorded in Saddar, I. I Chundrigar Road and Bahadurabad areas of the city as the weather is likely to remain cloudy for the next 24 hours.
Earlier, the Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasted that light drizzling was expected in Karachi and that the weather would remain cloudy for the next 24 hours.
As per the prediction, winds were also expected to blow in the metropolis with the temperature dropping to as low as 26 degrees Celsius during the night.
The day temperature will be recorded between 30 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius.
Met Office said that currently, the level of humidity in the year was 74%.
Pakistan receives monsoon rains in July and August. Karachi is experiencing cloudy weather for several weeks.
