A young woman has been gunned down in Lahore in front of her father as the duo was travelling on a motorbike.
Isha, a student of class XII, was targeted by two motorcyclists who were wearing helmets to hide their faces.
She and her father Abdul Ghafar who is a former deputy director of the Election Commission of Pakistan were passing by the LDA Avenue Society when the motorcyclists fire a single shot at Isha and sped away, according to the first information report filed by Ghafar at Chohang police station.
Isha was rushed to a local hospital but scummed to her injury.
She was the youngest of three sisters.
The motives behind the killing were not clear immediately. Police said Ghafar had recently retired from the ECP.
