Asia Cup: Nepal cricket team to reach Pakistan on August 23

The Nepal cricket team would reach Pakistan on Wednesday (tomorrow) for the Asia Cup. The mega event would begin on August 30.

Nepal would play against hosts Pakistan on August 30 in Multan. It would be their first-ever Asia Cup appearance.

According to the schedule, the Nepal team would play its practice match against the Pakistan team on August 24 in the Karachi National Stadium and their training sessions would begin on August 25.

The Nepal team would depart for Multan on August 27 for the first match of the tournament.

Group A – Pakistan (A1), India (A2) and Nepal (Nepal will take the position of the side, which fails to progress to the Super-4 stage)

Group B – Sri Lanka (B1), Bangladesh (B2) and Afghanistan (Afghanistan will take the position of the side, which fails to progress to the Super-4 stage)

Aug 31 - Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka in Kandy at 2:30pm

Sept 2 - Pakistan vs India in Kandy at 2:30 pm

Sept 3 - Bangladesh vs Afghanistan in Lahore at 2:30pm

Sept 4 - India vs Nepal in Kandy at 2:30pm

Sept 5 - Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka in Lahore at 2:30pm

Sept 6 - A1 vs B2 in Lahore at 2:30pm

Sept 9 - B1 vs B2 in Colombo at 2:30pm

Sept 10 - A1 vs A2 in Colombo at 2:30pm

Sept 12 - A2 vs B1 in Colombo at 2:30pm
