A bridegroom accused of killing three minors in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan has been arrested, the police said on Friday.

The minors, who were the suspect’s nephews, were killed when the gun purportedly went off by accident by the bridegroom. He was indulging in festive firing on his second marriage in the Bar Qali area of Spinwam tehsil of the tribal region.

At least two people were also left injured. The bridegroom had escaped after the killing.

The police have claimed that the mental condition of the accused was not fine.
