Gold prices eased in the local market of Pakistan with gold recording a decline of Rs400 per tola on Friday.
Gold per tola came down to Rs222,400 after a dip of Rs400, while gold 10 grammes was available at Rs190,672 having declined by Rs343 in the domestic markets across the country.
The decline in the prices came despite a weakening rupee against the dollar in the interbank foreign exchange market.
The local unit shed 89 paisas against the dollar which was trading at Rs288.49 at the closing of the interbank market, as against the closing of Rs287.60 the previous day.
