The federal government on Tuesday notified the constitution of the new 25-member Board of Investment.
The Board consists of 12 members representing the public sector, while 13 members represent the private sector, as per the notification.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will act as the president of the Board which includes federal ministers for finance, BoI, commerce, foreign affairs, industries and production, and energy among others. The BoI’s secretary will be the secretary of the Board.
Additionally, members from the private sector included Faisal Jawed, Imran Masood, Asad Saleem Rehman, Khalid Mahmood and Syed Muhammad Talib Rizvi.

Muhammad Yawar Irfan Khan, Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali Anjum, Engineer Harris Naeem, Syed Hasnain Ibrahim Kazmi, Malik Muhammad Awais Khalid, Ayla Majid, Eyab Ahmed and Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar are also part of the Board as its members.
