Tremors were felt in Islamabad, Peshawar and other cities of Pakistan after a 5.8 magnitude earthquake jolted Pakistan on Saturday.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Hindukush Region Afghanistan at a depth of 196 kilometres, according to National Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad.
Meanwhile, the temblor was also felt in Dir, Malakand, Swat, Bajaur, Kohat and other areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. However, no deaths or injuries have been reported in the earthquake.
Chiniot, Murree, Phalya, Malikwal, Zafarwal, Shakargarh, Jalalpur Bhattian, Sargodha, Sara-e-Alamgir, Farooqabad and Faisalabad were also reported to have felt the tremors.
