ECP begins trainings for new result managment system

In another step towards preparing for general elections in the country, Election Commission of Pakistan has announced trainings for a new managment system.

The ECP has announced five days of training and orientation between July 13 and July 26 to equip its staff and offiers with the Election Management System which will be used in the upcoming election.

The ECP has sent out a letter to provincial election commissioners asking them to instruct their staff members to attend the trainings.

The first batch of training has been organised over two days for IT officers and has begun from Thursday. A total of 40 IT officers will be trained during the program.

Next on the schedule is a two-day training session for District Election Officers between July 17 and July 20.

The last batch of trainings will be organised for provincial and regional election commissioners between July 24 and July 26.

The letter says that the trainings will be supervised by Miss Sapphire.
