Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will chair a meeting of the Apex Committee of the recently set up council to bring foreign investment into the country.
Army Chief General Asim Munir and all four chief ministers are expected to attend the meeting along with members of the federal cabinet.
The meeting will take place in the Prime Minister House, where members will review the progress made since the establishment of the council.
The committee is also expected to approve a plan for the facilitation of foreign investor delegations arriving in the country.
The Special Investment Facilitation Council was set up on June 21 and is divided into three tiers, the highest of which is the Apex Committee. The Council will seek to bring in more investment to Pakistan from the Gulf countries.
The council also includes an executive committee and an implementation committee.
