Pakistan Meteorological Department has announced that Sindh will receive rain over Eid ul Azha.
While pre-monsoon rains have made their appearance in Punjab from june 24 to 27, they are likely to spread into Sindh as eid approaches.
Qambar-Shahdadkot, Dadu, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Sukkur, Khairpur and Ghotki have already started receiving rain from Tuesday. Rains in these areas could continue till Eid.
While Kashmore, Jacobabad, Ghotki, Sukkur, Sanghar, Larkana and Dadu will get rain from Wednesday.
Karachi is expected to receive rain by the second day of eid. Dadu, Jamshoro, Matyari, Tharparker and Umerkot will also receive rains on Friday.
A Met Office statement said that the weather would also remain cloudy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad. Rains and thunderstorms can also occurr in Balochistan and Gilgit.
