Pakistan’s likely World Cup fixtures revealed

Mark your calendars, Pakistan are set to meet arch-rivals India on October 15 in Ahmedabad, according to the draft schedule of the ODI World Cup.

Though the tournament would begin with a repeat contest between 2019 finalists England and New Zealand on October 05, however, all eyes will be on Pakistan, who would be travelling to India after hiccups.

The Men in Green would kick off their campaign on October 06 against one of the qualifying teams in Hyderabad. They will play their second game of the tournament with the qualifying team at the same venue on the 12th of the month.

Their blockbuster tie against India is scheduled to be played in India on October 15 in Ahmedabad. The Babar Azam-led unit will then face mighty Australia on the 20th of the month in Bengaluru.

Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium will be the venue for the match between Pakistan and Afghanistan on October 23. Pakistan will play against South Africa a couple of days later on October 27 at the same venue.

Pakistan will face Bangladesh in Kolkata on October 31st, while they will again travel to Bengaluru to face New Zealand on November 05.

For their final round game, they will face the defending champions England in Kolkata on November 12.
