The Lahore Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has handed over PTI’s leader Yasmin Rashid to police for a 2-day physical remand in a case pertaining to Askari Tower attack case.
The Lahore ATC conducted the hearing on Saturday regarding Rashid’s alleged role in vandalism at Askari Tower, Gulberg in Lahore on May 9.
The prosecutor claimed that the PTI’s leader was involved in the Gulberg Plaza attack case, and asked for her physical remand for further investigations.
Last month, the PTI leader was discharged in the Jinnah House attack case after a Lahore court ruled that no evidence was found of her involvement in the attack.
Rashid was among the PTI leaders who were taken into custody under section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) following the May 9 violent events.
