Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra got engaged to Indian lawmaker Raghav Chadha on Saturday in Delhi, the Indian media reported.

“Everything I prayed for .. I said yes!” she said in a tweet and shared a ring emoji.

Parineeti and Raghav wore white, and the last picture in her post was a close-up of their hands, intertwined.

The engagement ceremony was attended by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Priyanka Chopra, Manish Malhotra, Derek O’Brien, Abhishek Manu Singhvi and many others from the world of entertainment and politics, according to The Indian Express.

The couple sparked dating rumours after they were photographed outside a few restaurants in Mumbai in March. But they did not make any statements about their relationship. Recently, they were clicked in Mohali while attending an Indian Premier League match. Parineeti and Raghav were seen blushing, as they waved to their fans.

Parineeti captioned her Instagram post, “Everything I prayed for… I said yes! Waaheguru ji meher karan…” and Raghav wrote “Everything I prayed for .. She said yes! Waaheguruji meher karan…”

In reaction, Parineeti’s friends from the film industry sent her best wishes.

A source had earlier told India Today that: “The duo is likely to get married by October-end of this year.”
