Young Pakistani woman to perform at the coronation of Charles III

Singer Noorima Rehan from Gilgit-Baltistan will perform at the coronation concert of King Charles III.

Pakistani singer and internet sensation Noorima Rehan has been invited to perform at the concert on the coronation of King Charles III and his wife Camilla in London. The coronation ceremony begins on May 6.

Noorima shared a social media post saying how lucky she felt about representing Pakistan at the coronation.

“She will be performing an orchestra song and representing her traditional Wakhi GB culture by wearing the cultural costume,” read a poster shared by Noorima.

The concert is to be held in the grounds of Windsor Castle on the evening of Sunday, May 7 – the day after the coronation.

Noorima Rehan shot to fame from a video that recently went viral. It showed her singing a song.

Who is Noorima Rehan

Noorima Rehan started singing at the age of 9 and has earned a reputation for herself on social media with her beautiful voice.

She belongs to Hunza, a city in Gilgit-Baltistan. She is an intermediate student and also a sports enthusiast.

Noorima participated in the winter sports festival in Gilgit this year.

Her team won the Winter Ice Hockey Championship.
