New Zealand Cricket has announced a 15-member squad for their upcoming tour of Pakistan. Tom Lathem will lead the visitors in absence of injured Kane Williamson.
The announcement was made on NZC’s website on Monday. Experienced pace duo Tim Southee and Trent Boult will miss the Blackcaps’ limited-over series due to their Indian Premier League commitments.
Former Pakistan head coach Saqlain Mushtaq will also be joining the visitors as team consultant for the tour.
Nine of the 15 players in the squad were part of their recent tour of Pakistan. Three uncapped players - – Chad Bowes, Rachin Ravindra, and Henry Shipley – are also part of the squad.
The Kiwis will play five T20Is and as many ODIs on their second tour to Pakistan. Their T20I squad will be announced in coming days.
