After a successful PSL campaign, pacer Ihsanullah cashed in the opportunity with the Pakistan team in the recently concluded Afghanistan T20I series.
The Swat-born speedster continued to impress with his expressive pace, which was full-on display against Afghanistan.
The moment of magic came in the consolation third T20I, where Ihsanullah was firing on all cylinders and claimed figures of three for 29 from his four overs as the young Pakistan side won the match by 66 runs.
His firry spell reminded fans of Shoaib Akhtar – the fastest and one of the most dangerous bowlers in the world.
The Shoaib Akhtar moment from the 20-year-old came in the 11th over of the Afghanistan innings, when he struck Najibullah Zadran with a well-directed short-pitched delivery.
The batter was stunned and was cut open beneath the chin. The batter retired hurt without scoring.
After the match, Ihsanullah inquired about the health of the injured batter.
This brutal delivery quickly became one of the top trends on Twitter as the fans praise the young pacer.
