Senior PTI leader Farrukh Habib has shared the list of party leaders and workers, who are expected to be arrested during a crackdown in Faisalabad.
The list, which includes all the names and contact details of the party leaders, came at a time when Imran Khan’s party is preparing to organise a public rally at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore Saturday.
In a tweet, PTI leader Farrukh Habib said that the caretaker government is trying to thwart PTI’s the Minar-e-Pakistan rally by arresting workers in Punjab.
He shared the list of leaders and workers who are set to be arrested during a crackdown in Faisalabad. “No matter what, a sea of people will reach Minar-e-Pakistan after Tarawih prayers today.”
Meanwhile, crackdown against the party workers continues in Punjab.
In the most recent development, police raided PTI leader Usman Dar’s residence in Sialkot, however, he was not at home.
The law enforcement agencies also raided houses in Nankana Sahib and nabbed PTI activists Babar Shah and Dr. Zia. Raids were also carried out in Sadiqabad, Pattoki and Shah Court.
Earlier, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry claimed that police has detained around 750 of their party activists, during raids in different parts of the country.
He wrote: “So far about 750 people have been arrested. Thought that Ramazan is the month of peace, the devils will be closed, but these devils do not even realize that poor people have been picked up and put in jails.”
“What will their home and family suffer, especially when the sole earner is in jail?” asked Chaudhry.
