Ihsanullah, Malik handshake goes viral on social media

Pakistan Super League (PSL) is not just about bringing young talent to the limelight, but also about paying respect to cricket legends.

That is one of the main reasons the league attracts cricket icons like Sir Vivian Richards or other top cricketers from across the globe.

Pakistan legend Shahid Afridi started the trend when he dismissed Misbah-ul-Haq and opted against celebrating the wicket in respect. He got the favour returned twice, from Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf.

This trend continued, as Ihsanullah, who is having the time of his life in the ongoing edition, showed aggression after dismissing Shoaib Malik but within seconds went to shake the veteran cricketer’s hand.

This heartwarming moment came in the match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans on Wednesday.

Fans also appreciated Ihsanullah’s gesture and praised him on social media.

That is how you respect the players. Ihsanullah you owe our respect, a user wrote on Twitter.

Another user shared two clips showing Ihsanullah’s moment and Rizwan’s hug to Shaheen.

Another user took a dig a Mohammad Amir by posting Ihsanullah’s reaction video after he removed Peshawar Zalmi Babar Azam.

Another user wrote that Ihsanullah is thanking Malik on behalf of Pakistanis for his remarkable services for cricket.
