Abdul Razzaq makes bold prediction about Ihsanullah

Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has pinned high hopes on Ihsanullah after the Multan Sultans pacer ripped through the Quetta Gladiators batting lineup.

The pacer registered his career-best figures of 5 -12 in match three of the Pakistan Super League played at Multan Cricket Stadium, as the home side thrashed Gladiators by nine wickets.

Razzaq believes that the pacer can hit the 160 kph mark in the future if he improves his fitness.

“When New Zealand came here, we selected him for the Test team. I had seen him in the National T20 Cup and he impressed me,” he told Geo News.

“If we work on him and he works on his fitness, I’m sure he can touch the 160kph mark. We have to look after such bowlers, and that’s the responsibility of PCB. We have to give chances to those who perform in the PSL.”

The pacer hit the 150 kph mark in the game when he dismissed Sarfaraz Ahmed.

Overall, according to CricViz data, his average speed in the spell was 144.37 kph. He has gone past Haris Rauf’s fiery spell against Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 7 where his average speed was 144.16 kph.
