Security forces conducted an operation near Banda bridge in North Waziristan, killing one terrorist.

The terrorist was considered to be involved in attacks on security personnel, three men were arrested in the operation as well.

A police checkpost in Domel tehsil of Bannu came under attack on Monday night, but no casualties were reported.

Reports said that a heavy contingent of police responded to the report of the attack, forcing the attackers to flee.

The Counter Terrorism Department also conducted an operation in Dera Ghazi Khan, arresting two people belonging to a banned outfit.

A large cache of arms and explosives was recovered as well.
