The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to unveil the new Pakistan Super League trophy on February 09 in Lahore.
The season eight of the tournament will begin on February 13 in the city of saints where defending champions Lahore Qalandars will face hosts Multan Sultans.
The trophy unveiling ceremony will feature all six franchises captains and PCB Najam Sethi at the Shalimar Bagh in Lahore.
“Yes, the newly designed trophy will be presented to the winners of the eighth edition,” PCB official told Cricket Pakistan. “The one that was used and presented to winners of the last seven editions will no longer be there. Now a freshly crafted trophy having a better look will be unveiled on February 9 at the Shalimar Garden.”
He confirmed that Multan Sultan and Lahore Qalandars captains will be available, while efforts are being made to have all the captains present for the trophy unveiling ceremony.
