Pakistan star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi is turning out to be a man with many talents as he took the matter of designing the new kit for Lahore Qalandars into his own hands.
Tough, he spent a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to a knee injury, but it did not stop him to showcase other talents.
With the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight about to begin on February 13, where, defending champions Lahore Qalandars will be taking on hosts Multan Sultans in the opening fixture, Shaheen has a very short window to finalise the kit design.
Chief Operating Officer (CEO) Lahore Qalandars Atif Rana is also optimistic to see Shaheen’s designing skills as they are set to defend the PSL crown.
“Shaheen is our leader and captain; he is also designing the new kit for Lahore Qalandars,” he said in a video message. “He [Shaheen] is designing the best kit; as Shaheen drops wickets, his kit design will blow everyone’s minds. Hope all the fans will like this new kit design.”
