WWE superstar Drew McIntyre heaped praise on India’s Virat Kohli for his superb batting display against Sri Lanka.
The batting genius smashed an unbeaten 166 off just 110 deliveries as India registered a record 317-run victory on Sunday at the Greenfield Stadium.
His innings, which includes 14 boundaries and eight maximums, helped India reach 390/5 in their 50 overs.
Kohli’s impressive show with the bat also caught the attention of the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, who asked fans will the latter be able to break Sachin Tendulkar’s record.
This was Kohli’s 46th century in the format. The century also takes him closer to Sachin’s overall ODI century tally of 49, now just three away from the Little Master’s record.
Overall, Tendulkar leads the chart with 100 centuries – 51 in Tests and 49 in ODIs – in international cricket.
