New Zealand suffer Milne blow ahead of Pakistan ODIs

New Zealand pacer Adam Milne withdrew from the Blackcaps’ squad for tours of Pakistan and India.

The pacer sustained a tight hamstring during the home series against India and was forced to miss two Ford Trophy games back in December.

Blair Tickner, who is already in Pakistan with the New Zealand Test squad, will replace him for 50-over games.

After two-match Test series at the National Bank Cricket Arena, both sides will meet in three ODIs on January 09, 11 and 13 at the same venue.

Following the series, the Kiwis will fly to India for three ODIs and the same number of T20Is. Kane Williamson and Tim Southee will miss the limited-overs tour.
