Aimal, who has twice won the Hum Style Award for Best Male Model, sat cross-legged naked on a sofa chair for a monochrome photography (black-and-white) shoot.
Instagram users critcised Aimal in the post and compared it with the Indian actor’s post.
Some announced their decision to start unfollowing the model.
One user thought it was not “cool”.
There was a comment for looking the pictures aesthetically.
One user updated Aimal about the “current condition” of Ranveer with his humour.
Indian personalities hit by complaints include Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who was naked apart from a strategically placed cassette player in a poster promoting his 2014 movie “PK”.
