Middle-order batter Saud Shakeel’s dismissal has sparked a new debate on social media as Multan Test entered a decisive phase.
The left-hander was dismissed for 94, just six runs short of his maiden Test century on Monday.
He tried to guide Mark Wood’s delivery down the leg side but was caught behind the stumps by Ollie Pope. The catch was referred to the third umpire as it was not clear to the naked eye.
After reviewing the footage, umpire Joel Wilson declared it out. However, the ball can be seen bouncing on the ground as Pope completes the catch.
