In the immediate aftermath of Imran Khan’s statement about leaving ‘all assemblies’, Moonis Elahi indicated that the plan could go ahead without any hurdles.
With the KP assembly firmly secured, it is in Punjab that Imran Khan’s exit strategy might have unclear implications.

Moonis Elahi immediately took to Twitter to explain that the assembly will be dissolved when Imran Khan’s decided.
“Since the day Parvez Elahi became CM, we have been running on a bonus,” Moonis said.
Speaking at an event of the All Pakistan Newspaper society earlier on Saturday before Imran Khan made his speech, CM Parvez Elahi said that the government would complete its tenure.
He added that the government had done a year’s worth of work in two and a half months, adding that the position given to him by God could not be taken away by anyone.
