Minister says march won’t reach Pindi as Sheikh Rasheed gears up for welcome

Sindh minister Saeed Ghani said on Sunday that it doesnt’t seem like PTI’s long march will reach Rawalpindi. He was addressing a press conference in Karachi.

“A week in jail with straighten up Imran Khan,” Ghani said, adding that the PTI chief knows that there is no possibility of his coming into power again without ‘help’.

Sheikh Rasheed on the other hand, said that countdown to the government’s end has begun. He also said that Rawalpindi will stage a ‘historical welcome’ when the long march reaches the garrison city.

He also said that the government has no inkling of ground realities and is mired in crises related to politics, economics and ‘appointments’.

Saeed Ghani also alluded to the ‘appointment’, an apparent reference to the new army chief’s appointment which is due in the next few days. “Imran Khan has made the appointment controversial,” he said adding that the controversy is not serving the country in any way.
