Black Panther sequel ‘Wakanda Forever’ has become a huge hit at the box office worldwide, as actress Letitia Wright remembers late co-star Chadwick Boseman.
The film starring Wright in the lead role was directed by Ryan Coogler and is a sequel to 2018’s Black Panther which starred Chadwick Boseman. The actor sadly passed away in 2020 after battling cancer.
In an exclusive interview with India Today, Wright termed Boseman ‘a man of integrity’. “
I’ve learned many things from Chad. But one of the things that stick out right now is his integrity.“
“He’s a man of great integrity and he was really regal,” she said. “And I’ve learned that to be integral, you have to be real to yourself and honest with who you are. And I feel like Chadwick was so authentic to who he was. So, I learned so much from him, but in particular, to be integral.”
In the movie, she takes the baton in her hand after Chadwick’s demise. She plays Black Panther after a new mutant enemy finds his way threatening to destroy Wakanda.
Other stars include Angela Bassett and Lupita N’yongo in pivotal roles. The film was released on November 11, 2022, and has already earned over $330 million.
