Cricket fraternity heaped praise on Pakistan for the remarkable fight back despite losing to England in the T20 World Cup final.
The Men in Green suffered a five-wicket defeat against Jos Buttler’s side at the Melbourne Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Despite just 137 runs on the board, the bowlers showed impressive skill to make England work hard to cross the winning line.
Eventually, England reached home in the 19th over to lift the T20 World Cup crown for the second time in their history.
Here is how cricket fraternity react to Pakistan’s fightback:
Hard luck team green @TheRealPCB and congratulations to @ECB_cricket for being crowned as the world T20 champions. We put a lot of effort but couldn’t make it, a lot to learn from our mistakes and work on them ahead. Chin up and let’s go forward with pride! #PakvsEng2022

Credit to Pakistan. Few teams would have defended 137 the way they did. Best bowling team.
