Imran Khan issues another threat to military

PTI Chairman Imran Khan threatened on Wednesday that he would soon reveal the name of another person who was involved in the assassination plot against him.

The PTI chief said in a tweet that he had discovered the assassination plot hatched against him two months ago and had exposed it during his rallies held in September and October.

Imran Khan claimed that he would expose the name of another military officer who, he claimed, was monitoring the assassination plot from the control room.

Meanwhile, protests against the attack continue across Pakistan, with PTI insisting on the registration of an FIR against the assassination bid as per the demands of the PTI chief.

The party rejected the FIR straight away when it was finally registered on Supreme Court’s orders several days after the attack.

Imran Khan wants three people, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and a senior army officer, named in the FIR.

However, during interviews with multiple international news channels this week he failed to offer any evidence against them when repeatedly asked.
