Four terrorists were killed during an Intelligence Based Operation in the general area of Kaman Pass in Balochistan, the military’s media wing said in a statement on Monday.
“Security Forces were dropped by helicopter near the suspected location of terrorists to cut the escape routes and clear the hideout,” Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said. However, it added, Sepoy Shafi Ullah and Sepoy Muhammad Qaiser were martyred when terrorists opened fire on the security forces.
ISPR said that cache of arms and ammunition including improvised explosive devices (IED) had been recovered.
“The clearance operation, however, continues to apprehend other terrorists in the area.”
