A hand grenade explosion in Balochistan’s Hub left six people injured at midnight on Tuesday.
Officials said that the house of Salahuddin Zehri, who was a special assistant to former Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri, was targeted.
DSP Munnawar Sheikh said unidentified persons hurled a hand grenade at the house and fled.
The explosion in Khyber Housing Society left three women and three children wounded.
The injured were moved to Karachi after being given first aid at Hub’s civil hospital.
Hub, a tehsil of Balcohistan’s Lasbela district, is located at around 50 kilometers northwest of Karachi.
