Lahore High Court Monday dismissed the Money Laundering case filed against Moonis Elahi in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

LHC’s Justice Asjad Javed Ghural announced a reserved decision on Elahi’s petition seeking quashing of a money laundering case filed against him on June 14, 2022.

He along with his supporters proved that he was charged with fake cases and there was no evidence of any faulty transaction.

The petition stated that the FIA’s money laundering case against Moonis was the result of political engineering and that Nationa Accountability Bureau (NAB) had already given Moonis a clean chit in these allegations.
