Resham has posted a video on social media which shows her taking part in a litter cleaning drive. The actress took to Instagram to say that the last few days have been a steep learning curve for her.

“I hope [it] will go some way to soothing any hurt that I may have inadvertently caused you and our people,’’ she said.

Last week, a video of Resham surfaced online in which she was seen throwing meat and bread from the top of a bridge overlooking a large water body to feed the fish. The clip went viral with some people criticizing her for what they said was polluting the sea because along with all the food for the fish, she threw polythene bags, wrappers and plastic utensils.

The actress posted a video on Instagram apologizing for throwing plastic bags into the river. “I apologize to the whole nation for what happened. I’m personally against all kinds of pollution. As Pakistanis, It is our responsibility to keep our country clean. I will try my best not to make the same mistake again,” she said.
