Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Monday that the coalition government would boycott proceedings unless the Supreme Court ruled in favour of the PDM demand that the full-court bench hear the challenge against Hamza Shehbaz’s election as Punjab chief minister.
PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah said this while talking to the media outside the Supreme Court in Islamabad while the court was on a break. It had reserved its verdict regarding the plea seeking the formation of the full-court.
Rana Sanaullah called for all the petitions to be heard together by the full-court bench. “It will increase the respect of the court.”
He was flanked by Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar who said that the party leader was the one who issued the ticket and hence had the right to give instructions regarding how to vote.
