Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman issued on Sunday several royal orders, including the appointment of two women in key positions in ministries.
Princess Haifa Bint Muhammad was appointed as deputy minister of tourism. She was serving as the assistant minister of tourism and was in charge of implementing the National Tourism Strategy.
In another decree, the King appointed Al-Shihana Bint Saleh Alazzaz as the deputy secretary-general of the Council of Ministers.

Born in 1950 to King Faisal and Queen Iffat, Princess Haifa is also a member of the Board of Directors of the General Civil Aviation Authority, Qiddiya Investment Company, the Tourism Development Fund and the Tourism Development Board.
She, previously, was the secretary-general of the Formula E Holding Company, organising a Formula E race in Diriyah, near Riyadh, and the event attracted more than 60,000 participants.
Al-Shihana Bint Saleh Alazzaz
Alazzaz was one of the first women licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia and has held the post of general counsel at the Public Investment Fund. She fought her first case at the age of 16 for her inheritance after her father died.
She also holds the honour of being the first Saudi lawyer to gain approval from the New York Council.
